Fastpitch Nation Mizuno Outdoor College Showcase

Fastpitch Nation is teaming up with Mizuno and the USSSA to provide a top quality College Showcase Tournament in the Greater Hartford Area.  Introducing the 1st Annual FPN Mizuno Summer College Showcase. This event, limited to 50 teams, will take place July 27, 28 and 29 at the recently renovated Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Club Fields in East Hartford, CT. This 7 field complex is centrally located directly across the street from Rentschler Field. The site is ideally located for a showcase. All games will be at this complex only. More than 400 coaches from all divisions have been invited to attend. Nearly 50 schools attend the the FPN indooor showcases and we are anticipating more schools than that to attend the outdoor event. Some of the highlights of the tournament include:

• Format of 5 Game Guarantee over 3 days (Friday Saturday and Sunday).
• On-site Tournament Director.
• On-site Umpire-in-Chief
• The most professional and highly qualified umpires anywhere in the state.
• 2 umpires per game. 3 umpires for all Finals in regular tournaments and semi-finals and finals of State Championships.
• Courteous and available on-site staff. 

• The best field complex in CT.
• Professional concessionaires.
• Extensive softball merchandise with a dynamic custom tournament shirt for each event.
• The field complex can accommodate 50 teams in the showcase.

There will also be an individual showcase event at the same fields Thursday, July 26. Registration for that will open soon.
 

To register your team for the showcase you need to first register your team on the USSSA website. If your team is already USSSA registered than you just log-in on the USSSA website and enter the tournament. Please e-mail us with any questions. Register early to save your spot. This event is sure to become a regular on the showcase circuit.
